Basic Uses The Gypsemna’s MOLD AND MOISTURE RESISTANCE (MMR – 13mm) Type X Gypsum Board is used for interior walls and ceilings in all buildings categories applications requiring extended moisture resistance, this makes Gypsemna MOLD AND MOISTURE RESISTANCE an ideal choice as a moisture resistant substrate and in wall assemblies where surface abrasion is a concern, high humidity performances in wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, behind sinks and basins and in shower cubicles. Also designed as a substrate for ceramic tiles. It can be used for new construction or renovations steel framing. The boards are typically screwed to studs spaced maximum 24″ (610 mm) also can be applied by laminating or with the use of an adhesive.
MOLD AND MOISTURE RESISTANCE (MMR 13mm)
The Gypsemna’s MOLD AND MOISTURE RESISTANCE (MMR – 13mm) Type X Gypsum Board is an interior gypsum board consisting of a solid set, Type C gypsum core enclosed in GREEN-colored face paper and a strong liner back paper. Gypsemna’s MMR Type C board features a specially formulated core providing mold and moisture resistance when used in wet area. Long edges are slightly tapered, allowing joints to be reinforced and concealed with joint tape and joint compound. The face paper and the back paper are 100 percent recycled.
